The team made a system that creates copies of real farms using mixed reality technology. This lets users walk through farms and monitor real plants and sensor data in real time.
The project uses reality IoT sensors and 3D modeling to create a farming experience that could help older adults, people with disabilities, researchers and students access farms from home.
A Virtual Farm Experience
The idea is simple but powerful. By walking through a greenhouse or farm users can put on VR goggles and explore a virtual version of the real environment from anywhere.
